About the Position:

We are seeking a highly skilled Energy Storage Engineering Lead to join our team at Strata Clean Energy. As a key member of our development department, you will play a critical role in shaping the future of clean energy.

Key Responsibilities:
• Lead the development of detailed design basis layouts, constraint maps, and single line diagrams for Strata's development pipeline of solar, hybrid, and stand-alone storage projects.
• Develop and maintain relationships with various equipment vendors, contractors, and third-party engineering firms.
• Manage, mentor, and train junior Development Engineers as the development engineering team grows.
• Support the permitting process and interacting with AHJs and other local stakeholders.
• Analyze solar resource data, BESS dispatch profiles, and power market forecasts.

Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in related engineering discipline, Civil Engineering preferred.
• 5+ years related experience, working with utility-scale PV development and energy storage projects preferred.
• Working knowledge of energy industry and project finance fundamentals.
• Experience leading site walks and interpreting environmental and AHJ requirements to create constraints maps is preferred.
• Strong project management skills & ability to work with limited supervision.
