Job Description
KnS Solar is seeking an Energy Storage Consultant to sell battery storage solutions for existing solar systems. The role involves door-to-door sales, educating homeowners, and closing deals. Candidates should have prior door-to-door sales experience, strong communication skills, and a passion for renewable energy. This is a remote position with a contractor schedule, offering a salary of $1.5K–$4K per week.

We are one of the few providers that are completely vertically integrated from finance, permitting, design to installation, meaning every part of the process is handled in-house and never subcontracted out.
By joining our sales and marketing team, you will have the opportunity to grow your sale skills and knowledge in the solar and battery storage industry.
You will be mainly responsible to sell energy storage to retrofit into existing solar system thus storing excess instead of selling back to the grid.
We are seeking motivated and results-driven Solar Sales Representatives to join our growing team in Houston, TX. This role involves door-to-door sales, educating homeowners on the benefits of energy storage, and closing deals. If you have a strong sales background and a passion for renewable energy, we want to hear from you!

• You are afraid to present new ideas or lose confidence if asked to pivot
• You’re uncomfortable making important decisions on your own
• You cannot do door to door sale
Responsibilities
• Conduct market research to identify potential customers and leads
• Develop and maintain relationships with new and existing clients
• Present product information to customers effectively
• Collaborate with the sales team to achieve targets
• Utilize CRM software such as Mondays to track sales activities
• Conduct door-to-door outreach to potential customers in residential neighborhoods.
• Educate homeowners on solar energy and battery storage solutions and their benefits.
• Generate leads, set appointments, and conduct in-home consultations.
• Customize battery storage estimates or proposals to fit customer needs.
• Close deals and guide customers through the onboarding process.
• Maintain strong product knowledge and stay updated on industry trends.
• Meet and exceed sales targets and performance metrics.
Qualification
• Previous door-to-door sales experience is required (solar, alarms, pest control, cable, etc.).
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, commission-driven sales environment.
• Passion for renewable energy and sustainability.
• Self-motivated with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
• Reliable transportation and ability to travel within Houston and surrounding areas.
