As a General Manager, you will lead the setup and day-to-day management of Solar Power Plants in Afghanistan, aligning with our strategic goal of expanding into the renewable energy sector.
About This Opportunity

We seek an experienced professional to provide strategic direction and leadership in analyzing solar energy projects, identifying opportunities for investment, development, and partnerships with Afghanistan.
Main Responsibilities:
• Lead feasibility studies, financial modeling, and risk assessments for large-scale solar energy projects.
• Collaborate with technical experts, project managers, and engineers to ensure comprehensive evaluation and design of solar projects.
• Work with the Chief of Staff and executive team to align solar energy ventures with our broader business strategy.
• Provide strategic advice to the board and senior leadership team on the feasibility, viability, and potential returns of solar energy initiatives.
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Renewable Energy, Electrical Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field (Master's degree or MBA preferred).
• Minimum 10 years of experience in the renewable energy sector, with at least 5 years focused on solar energy project analysis, development, or management.
• Proven experience in conducting feasibility studies, financial modeling, and risk assessments for large-scale solar energy projects.
• In-depth knowledge of the regulatory landscape in renewable energy, including policies, incentives, and subsidies for solar projects.
