The Opportunity Ashurst is continuing to invest heavily in our Projects and Energy Transition team and are seeking a Senior Associate with 7 years or more PQE and experience in energy projects. In this role, you will work closely with Mike Webb, a partner with a strong focus on renewable energy and climate-tech projects, as well as with our broader Projects and Energy Transition teams in Melbourne, Brisbane and Perth (including partners such as Chris Redden, Kate Phillips, David Jardine, Dan Brown, Dale Gill, Paul Lingard and Jess Davies). You’ll be involved in a wide range of matters related to the procurement, development, and delivery of major energy projects—including power purchase agreements—as well as energy regulatory issues and carbon market developments.
