Prologis is seeking an Energy Project Manager who is passionate about construction and eager to manage a large portfolio of Energy and Mobility developments from design through construction and handoff to Asset Management. You will join a high-performing Global Energy and Mobility team and collaborate closely with internal partners delivering more than 200 MW annually across solar, energy storage, electric vehicle infrastructure, and other distributed energy solutions. Internally, you will work closely with local Operations Construction Managers, Market Officers, Leasing, Capital Deployment, and customer-facing teams. This role is ideal for a construction-focused project manager with strong scheduling, documentation, and execution discipline who thrives in a fast-paced, portfolio-driven environment.



You will report to the Director, Utility Storage Project Execution - U.S. As part of our renewable construction and project management team, you will oversee and coordinate external vendors and subcontractors responsible for delivering a portfolio of energy projects. You will represent Prologis throughout project execution to ensure work aligns with company standards, specifications, and customer value objectives. This role requires experience delivering energy projects and a strong understanding of electrical, structural, and civil scopes. The position offers a unique opportunity to help Prologis build and operate the largest portfolio of commercial energy assets in the United States.



Key responsibilities include:

Support early-stage planning and pre-construction activities for utility-scale and front-of-the-meter energy storage projects, focusing on technical scope definition, constructability, risk identification, budget alignment, and schedule feasibilityDevelop, maintain, and actively manage detailed project schedules, ensuring alignment across engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, and interconnection milestonesManage construction-related deliverables from development handoff through engineering, permitting, interconnection, procurement, construction, commissioning, and turnoverCoordinate and manage EPCs, general contractors, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure compliance with Prologis standards, utility requirements, and applicable local, state, and federal regulationsPartner with internal stakeholders to proactively identify, document, and communicate project risks, schedule impacts, cost variances, and execution issues; provide clear mitigation plans and escalation as neededPrepare and deliver regular project-level updates, including weekly schedule updates, cost status, risk logs, and milestone tracking for internal stakeholders and leadershipWork closely with utility representatives to support interconnection approvals, permission to operate, and achievement of commercial operation dates (COD)Support management of tax credit and incentive-related requirements, including Investment Tax Credit (ITC) compliance, prevailing wage and apprenticeship (PWA) documentation, cost segregation inputs, and coordination with internal tax, finance, and external advisorsEnsure required incentive, compliance, and closeout documentation is complete, accurate, and delivered in accordance with regulatory, contractual, and audit requirementsManage construction schedules, change orders, contract deliverables, and cost controls throughout project executionSupport Sales and Development teams by providing construction and execution input for energy proposals, including scope, schedule, safety, quality, and cost considerationsReview and manage technical documentation including drawings, specifications, scopes of work, commissioning reports, contractor RFIs, and as-built documentationSupport procurement and contracting activities, including RFP/RFQ development, bid evaluation, vendor selection, and subcontractor buyout for projects ranging from $10M-$100MReview and approve invoices, lien releases, compliance documentation, and closeout materials to support accurate payment processing and project turnoverSupport commercial contract administration and compliance in partnership with Legal, Procurement, and Finance, including issuance of required noticesDemonstrate willingness and capability toleverageemerging technology, automation, and AI tools to improve efficiency, quality, and speed. Exercises sound judgment, creative thinking, and accountability for outcomes.

Building blocks for success

Required:

6+ years' experience leading and managing Pre-construction & Construction projects, preferably in the utility scale / front of the meter Energy Storage (BESS) / Gas Turbine power generation, Microgrid project arenasBachelor's degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Planning or Engineering (Electrical, Civil or Structural)Experience managing EPCs, GC, VPPA, PPA and utility interconnection upgrade agreements with strict commissioning requirements, as well as design-build, O&M, storage and energy as-a-service agreementsStrong project scheduling and controls experience, including development and maintenance of detailed construction schedules and milestone trackingExperience supporting ITC and other renewable energy incentive compliance, including documentation coordination for PWA, cost segregation, and audit readinessWorking knowledge of renewable energy incentives and programs (e.g., ITC, RECs, feed-in tariffs, community solar, SGIP)Experience managing multi-site portfolios and performing technical due diligenceDemonstrated success delivering complex construction projects in the renewable energy sectorStrong communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skillsExperience supporting or working with large enterprise or Fortune 100 customersAbility to travel up to 35%

Preferred:

Renewable energy, BESS, Gas Turbine Power Generation, Microgrid Industry knowledge and experience strongly preferred

Hiring Salary Range of: $128,000 - $212,000. Salary and whole compensation package (bonus target) to be determined by the candidate's location, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
