Job Description

This role involves interpreting, organizing, executing, and coordinating cutting-edge innovation, research and development, and pilot projects in the field of renewable energy. The successful candidate will be responsible for selecting and exploring various subject areas, defining project scope, product development, and implementation of novel concepts.

Technologies of interest include solar PV, energy storage, transmission, and wind. This role requires collaboration with multi-disciplinary teams of internal and external industry subject matter experts for problem-solving, betterment opportunities, and systems integration.

The ideal candidate will possess expertise in two or more of the following areas: training models (ML, DL, LLM etc), data science and statistics, and IT solutions and automation.
Required Skills and Qualifications

The successful candidate must have proven analytical capabilities in one or more of the following areas: creating models, performing statistical analyses, and optimizing system performance; designing and developing machine learning and deep learning systems; and software development and automation.

A Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field from an ABET accredited program and 3+ years of proven experience, or a Master's in electrical engineering, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field and 1-3 years of proven experience are required.
