Energy Operations Lead

Johnson Controls is seeking an Energy Operations Lead in Dubai. The role requires a relevant degree and over 5 years of experience in cooling plant operations and HVAC systems. Responsibilities include managing service delivery, optimizing energy performance, troubleshooting systems, and overseeing a team. The position emphasizes customer service, KPI compliance, and collaboration with various departments to ensure operational efficiency and satisfaction.
Summary:
• You should have a relevant degree, 5+ years in cooling plant operations, BMS experience, strong HVAC knowledge, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to monitor costs and identify opportunities.
• You will manage service delivery, optimize energy performance, troubleshoot systems, oversee a team, ensure KPI compliance, handle customer complaints, and coordinate with various departments.

What you will do

The Energy Operations Lead – ESCO Operations is a key role reporting directly to the Energy Operations Manager, Aftermarket and will be based in Dubai. The key role shall be:
• Day to day management of the Service Delivery and Maintenance in line with Company Best Practices.
• Handle large size operation contracts on various systems (cooling, heat pumps, airside units etc…).
• Responsible for the energy performance of the ESCO sites to ensure the equipment are monitored and operated to achieve designated efficiencies
• Conduct planning, scheduling, directing, monitoring, controlling for uniform operation and service execution.
• Troubleshooting of HVAC and control systems
• Optimize operating costs via effective planning and monitoring
• Manage & ensure KPIs are met & continuous monitoring of Service Level Agreement compliance
• Manage a team of Operators and Technicians
• Alignment and implementation of Service Management, Quality Management and Health & Safety & Environmental Standards.
• Ensure customer complaints are managed to the best interest of the company and to the satisfaction of customer
• Realize opportunities from cooling equipment’s end of life and replacement/upgrade solutions
• Identifying service delivery improvements
• Functional co-ordination with Sales, Admin & procurement departments

How you will do it

As an Energy Operations Lead, you will be the contact point for all team members and you will use your strong technical knowledge and management skills to operate, maintain, manage teams, carry out full dilapidation reports, recommending system enhancements, operational improvements as necessary. You’ll carry out and report on site surveys, root cause analysis, service operations progress and coordination.

You will understand the customer requirements and concerns by meeting them on regular basis and provide them required technical services & ensure 100% customer satisfaction. You’re determined and consistent in your approach to work, managing multiple priorities simultaneously because of your excellent planning, and time management skills.
