Develop and implement innovative strategies to promote sustainable, efficient, and affordable energy solutions for the state of California.
Conduct thorough research and analysis of energy policies, markets, and technologies to identify emerging trends and opportunities.
Collaborate with various stakeholders, including government agencies, energy companies, and community organizations, to gather insights and perspectives on energy issues.
Provide expert advice and recommendations to senior management on energy-related matters.
Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of energy policies and programs, and make data-driven recommendations for improvement.
Stay up-to-date on the latest developments and advancements in the energy industry, and proactively identify potential impacts and opportunities for the state.
Communicate complex energy concepts and strategies to both technical and non-technical audiences through presentations, reports, and other mediums.
Conduct cost-benefit analyses and financial modeling to assess the feasibility of proposed energy initiatives.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement energy-related projects and initiatives.
Represent the state in meetings, conferences, and workshops related to energy innovation and policy.
Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and industry experts to stay informed and connected within the energy sector.
Continuously seek out opportunities to drive positive change and make a meaningful impact in the energy industry.
Adhere to all state and federal laws and regulations related to energy and environmental policies.
