Job Description
Chesapeake Smart Energy Solutions is hiring an Energy Incentive Sales Consultant for outside sales, focusing on promoting no-cost energy efficiency programs to commercial and government buildings in Maryland. The role is remote, requiring strong communication skills and a self-driven attitude. Candidates should have reliable transportation and be able to manage their schedules effectively. Income potential ranges from $40,000 to over $150,000 based on performance.
Outside Sales Job
Chesapeake Smart Energy Solutions, partners with local utilities companies: Baltimore Gas and Electric, SMECO, Pepco & Delmarva Power and Potomac Edison to educate Business and Government customers on the benefits of saving energy, by promoting no cost energy incentives to Commercial and Government buildings.
Chesapeake is seeking dynamic, reliable and qualified candidates to educate and sell a No Cost to customer energy efficiency HVAC Service Tune-up and Building Tune-up program to all all commercial business and Government buildings located in Maryland.
These energy incentives are 100% Free to the customer making it a very easy sale.
Jobs Available:
• Outside Sales Representative( Entry Level or Experience )
Sales Representatives can work from home anywhere in Maryland.
Outside Sales Representative
• Strong personal motivation to advance in your career.
• Must have excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Must be self-driven & highly motivated.
• Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines and quotas.
• Normal Work hours Monday through Friday Day time
• Ability to prioritize and multitask appropriately.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Certain opportunities require a clean DMV record.
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment background check.
• Applicants must be 18 years old or older.
• Must have cell phone with data and internet.
Job Skills and Requirements
• Knowledgeable with HVAC technologies a plus but not necessary.
• Able to explain the benefits of enrolling in the utility program to the customer
• Provides excellent customer service
• Able to manage a schedule and to consistently be on time
• Able to effectively communicate across technology channels (Skype, email, phone, etc.)
• Proficiency with laptop and/or tablet PC including software applications such as MS Office, CRM and digital file management
• Able to understand core business directives and maintain focus on objectives
• Excellent communications skills both written and verbal
• Local travel is required; mileage reimbursement included
• Energy efficiency assessment experience is a plus!
• May occasionally need to climb ladders
• Must be able to adapt to a variety of diverse office environments
• Well-maintained, personal vehicle
• Valid driver’s license
Income Potential
Full Time: Performance-based Commission & Bonuses
Can make $70,000 to $120,000
Top Producers can earn over $150,000.
