Your Role
As an Energy Engineering Associate on our dynamic team, you will play a key role in driving innovative energy infrastructure upgrades through all stagesproject development, design, implementation, and performance. We're seeking a motivated, results-driven individual with strong technical skills, exceptional written and verbal communication abilities, and a collaborative mindset to work seamlessly with cross-functional teams. Responsibilities
• Project Engineering and Coordination
• Identify innovative energy infrastructure upgrades through site audits, data analysis, and engineered drawing reviews.
• Determine the cost-effectiveness of identified energy efficiency measures through rigorous savings calculations and evaluation of available financial incentives.
• Evaluate energy conservation measurement viability by conducting constructability analyses and coordinating with trade contractors.
• Drive internal and external technical communication with team members, clients, third-party consultants, subcontractors, and utility providers.
• Business & Project Development:
• Contribute to competitive Request for Proposal (RFP) response submissions and sales presentations for federal, state, and private clients.
• Draft technical documentation for project lifecycle which include proposals, preliminary assessments (PA), and investment grade audits (IGA).
• Coordinate with internal team, client, and subcontractors to accomplish project goals.
Basic Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree (preferably in engineering/STEM or environmental field). Undergraduate GPA > 3.5. Master's Degree preferred, not required.
• Demonstrated academic or internship experience in the fields of energy efficiency, renewable energy, and/or sustainability.
• Demonstrated professional, academic, and/or extracurricular leadership experience.
• Excellent technical writing skills with the ability to communicate complex information clearly and concisely.
Successful Candidates Possess
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks, challenges, and technologies.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team with diverse skill sets.
• Strong attention to detail with demonstrated analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
US work authorization is required with the ability to obtain government security clearance(s). We are unable to offer visa sponsorships at this time.

Our headquarters is located in Arlington, VA. Join us in a city, neighboring Washington DC, that embraces innovation and sustainability. We strongly prefer new associates to be within a commutable distance for hybrid work schedules allowing for in-person/in-office mentorship.
