Aramark is seeking an Energy Engineer - MEP Systems Manager in Teaneck, NJ. The role involves managing energy management programs and MEP systems for a client, focusing on energy efficiency projects and training. Job Description
The Energy Engineer/MEP (Mechanical, Electrical & Plumbing) Systems Manager shall be responsible for directing and managing all elements of energy management program and strategic and operational MEP systems leadership for the for a client in norther New Jersey. The Senior Energy Engineer/MEP Systems Manager facilitates the identification, development and implementation of energy management projects and protocols. These critical initiatives help the programs achieve the overall energy reduction goals and objectives. The Senior Energy Engineer/MEP Systems Manager provides strategic leadership for maintenance and renewal of the campus MEP systems. The Energy Engineer/MEP Systems Manager develops and maintains effective customer rapport, provides guidance and training to help others (internally to ARAMARK and externally to the client) efficiently operate the client's energy consuming systems.

Job Responsibilities
• Oversee all aspects of a large energy management program for two client sites.
• Create and develop strong relationships with client and company/campus community.
• Implement energy optimization activities that will improves the operating efficiency of the building automation system (BAS) and HVAC equipment.
• Develop scope of work, bid, and manage the implementation of energy efficiency projects.
• Provide energy efficiency training to client personnel or staff.
• Assist the company/campus community with implementing energy efficiency and awareness activities.
• Assist client in troubleshooting system operational issues that impact energy efficiency.
• Create formal documentation including memorandums, reports, etc. are routine deliverables produced by the Senior Energy Engineer role.
• Provide strategic and operational leadership and oversight for all major MEP systems including heating ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC), electrical, plumbing, and BAS .
• Assist Associate POM manager in developing solutions to complex campus MEP system issues as they arise.
• Assist the Facilities director in annual MEP systems planning and budgeting.
Qualifications
• Bachelor's Degree in appropriate field with 3+ years of experience in the identification and implementation of energy efficiency projects or programs is required.
• Professional Engineer License and/or Certified Energy Manager designation is preferred.
• Demonstrated working knowledge of HVAC, boilers, chillers and control systems is
required.
• Experience analyzing the operation of HVAC systems and controls to identify and implement no-cost and low-cost actions that will increase energy efficiency.
• Experience conducting with ASHRAE Level 1, 2, 3 energy audits.
• Strong organizational and computer skills are necessary, particularly the Microsoft Office Suite.
• Possess highly developed interpersonal, analytical, and communication skills (oral & written)
