About the position

The Energy Efficiency Program Liaison at New Jersey Resources is responsible for promoting energy efficiency programs to commercial participants, including municipalities, universities, and businesses. This role involves managing projects from inception to completion, ensuring effective communication and collaboration among stakeholders, and supporting program marketing efforts. The position aims to enhance customer engagement and drive participation in energy efficiency initiatives, contributing to a sustainable energy future.

Responsibilities
• Assist in the review of commercial customers to identify the most appropriate energy efficiency program that will deliver the greatest financial and environmental customer benefit.

• Present program overviews and explain details to potential commercial participants.

• Manage projects throughout the complete cycle from initial presentations to final project commissioning.

• Review and explain audit findings and recommendations to participants.
,
• Identify and recruit quality contractors to participate at program trade allies.
,
• Develop and maintain solid business relationships with program contractors, engineering firms, and program participants.
,
• Help to coordinate all activities and interactions between program participants, engineering firms, SAVEGREEN staff and program contractors.

• Provide timely project and prospective project reporting.
,
• Regularly update the CRM and Program Management System on opportunity and project status.
,
• Assist in developing program forecasting and have accountability for goals and metrics projected.
,
• Develop detailed forecasts of program spending.
,
• Support all evaluation, measurement and verification activities related to SAVEGREEN programs.
,
• Provide support to SAVEGREEN Residential marketing and outreach efforts when necessary.

Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred.
,
• At least four years of relevant experience in the industry.
,
• Experience in the sales of commercial HVAC equipment or projects or commercial energy efficiency programs.
,
• Strong project management skills.
,
• Experience in project sales and oversight.
,
• Must be highly motivated, have excellent presence and strong written and oral communication skills.
,
• Knowledge of PC based computer applications including but not limited to Word, Excel, and particularly PowerPoint.
,
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
,
• Critical thinking skills and ability to communicate effectively to a wide range of audiences.
,
• Ability to build partnerships and influence others regardless of level.
