Job Description

Cadmus is seeking an Energy Efficiency Consultant for their Oakland, CA office. The role involves working with clients to identify energy efficiency opportunities, developing implementation strategies, conducting site assessments, and managing multiple projects. Candidates should have a relevant Bachelor's degree, 8-10 years of experience in project management, and skills in data analysis. The position is full-time and requires leadership and mentoring of junior staff.
Cadmus seeks a talented Energy Efficiency Consultant to join our Planning and Assessment Team. As a consultant, you will work with clients to identify opportunities for energy efficiency and develop strategies to achieve their goals.
About the Role

This role involves working with clients to understand their energy efficiency needs and providing recommendations for implementing energy-saving measures. You will work closely with clients to develop and implement energy efficiency plans, including conducting site assessments, analyzing data, and providing recommendations for energy-saving technologies.

You will also be responsible for managing multiple projects simultaneously, including leading project teams, mentoring junior staff, and ensuring all deliverables meet Cadmus standards and exceed client expectations.

Key responsibilities include:
• Developing and implementing energy efficiency plans for clients
• Conducting site assessments and analyzing data to identify energy-saving opportunities
• Providing recommendations for energy-saving technologies and strategies
• Managing multiple projects simultaneously, including leading project teams and mentoring junior staff
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant area of study such as mechanical or environmental engineering, economics, statistics, mathematics, environmental studies, or other quantitative social science
• Between 8-10 years of experience managing or leading research or planning projects that include both qualitative and quantitative techniques
• Industry experience in utilities, energy efficiency, energy efficiency program planning, and/or resource planning
• Demonstrated ability and experience managing multiple projects and project teams
• Experience in data analysis and interpretation
• Experience with project planning and budget management
• Intermediate to advanced experience with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
