Energy & Sustainability Engineer | Permanent | Hybrid | Up to £45,000

Are you passionate about energy assessments, building performance modelling, and sustainable design? Join PT Renewables and a dynamic consultancy as an Energy and Sustainability Engineer, where you can help shape the future of energy-efficient buildings!

Your Role:

As a key member of our expanding team, you'll take the lead on diverse projects, developing innovative strategies to minimize carbon emissions and enhance building performance.

Your Responsibilities:
• Conduct Domestic and Non-Domestic EPC assessments for both new builds and retrofit projects.
• Lead dynamic simulation modelling using IES and other cutting-edge software.
• Produce SBEM and SAP calculations to ensure compliance with energy efficiency standards.
• Perform optioneering assessments to determine the most effective retrofit strategies for various buildings.

About You:
• A degree in Sustainable Design, Energy Engineering, Building Technology, Sustainable Architecture, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in energy assessments and building performance modelling for commercial and domestic properties.
• Familiarity with UK building regulations and energy performance standards is essential.

Desirable Qualifications:
• Proficiency in IES and dynamic simulation modelling tools; experience with additional tools is a bonus!
• Certification (or the willingness to achieve certification) as a Commercial/Domestic Energy Assessor.
• Certification (or the willingness to pursue certification) with WELL, NABERS, LEED, FITWELL, or other green building certification schemes.
