In this job, you’ll be part of the Contract Compliance & Technical Services (CC&TS) team. The successful candidate will support commercial contract management, origination, compliance and regulatory activities for one of the nation's largest, and rapidly growing, contracted clean energy and energy storage portfolios. You will be responsible for administering a variety of compliance programs and will be a part of teams supporting SCE energy procurement activities, and a variety of other activities.

Responsibilities
• Researches and resolves contract inquiries from internal parties
• Supports energy procurement activities through Requests for Offer (RFOs) for various energy resources, including renewable resources (includes all resource types, i.e., energy storage, renewable and non-renewable resources). Role includes utilizing systems and tools
• Assists in operationalizing the signoff and execution process of new contracts and amendments to contracts
• Aids in ensuring SOX procedures are adhered to and maintain adequate records for auditing purposes
• Support contract payment process through utilization of complex analytical tools that integrate varied and large volumes of data (e.g., 5 minute interval for metering, outage and forecast information, and CAISO market data)
• Assists with compliance reporting and responding to data requests from regulators and CPUC intervenors
• Manages process for tracking and evaluating insurance certificates and provides recommendations to management when dealing with deficient certificates
• Completes data entries in the contract management database
• A material job duty of all positions within the Company is ensuring the protection of all its physical, financial and cybersecurity assets, and properly accessing and managing private customer data, proprietary information, confidential medical records, and other types of highly sensitive information and data with the highest standards of conduct and integrity.

Minimum Qualifications
• Experience with data analysis or contract management

Preferred Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business, Economics, Finance, Statistics, Engineering, or other quantitative related fields
• Experience building reports to track, analyze and maintain the accuracy and integrity of large amounts of data using Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access, SharePoint and other database systems
• Experience with Microsoft Power BI or similar business analytical tool
• Experience in energy industry or markets, or working in a utility environment
• Experience evaluating and analyzing data to determine trends

Additional Information
• This position’s work mode is hybrid. The employee will report to an SCE facility for a set number of days with the option to work remotely on the remaining days. Unless otherwise noted, employees are required to work and reside in the state of California. Further details of this work mode will be discussed at the interview stage. The work mode can be changed based on business needs.
