Energy Consulting Expert

McKinstry is seeking an Energy Consulting Expert in Portland, OR, to lead a delivery team focused on optimizing facility operations and energy usage. The role requires strong project management skills and the ability to communicate technical information effectively. Candidates should have at least 7 years of experience, including 2 years in team management, with a preference for knowledge in building automation systems and HVAC controls.

The Clean Building Performance Standard (CBPS) team is expanding, and we are seeking an experienced professional to support this growth. You will oversee the delivery team focused on helping clients optimize their facility operations and energy usage through data analysis, site walks, and hands-on consulting.

This role requires strong project management skills, with the ability to organize and prioritize tasks while juggling multiple deliverables/timelines. You will also need to effectively communicate complex technical information to diverse stakeholder groups.

We are looking for someone with a minimum of seven (7) years' professional experience, including at least 2 years' experience in direct people/team management. Prior experience with building automation systems and HVAC control protocols is preferred.
