Role And Responsibilities
The ideal candidate will have experience in analyzing energy usage data, conducting energy audits, performing utility billing audits, and providing insights and recommendations for improving energy efficiency. This role requires a strong understanding of energy systems, energy usage patterns, and the ability to interpret data to inform strategic decisions related to energy procurement, cost savings, and utility billing accuracy.
• Energy Data Analysis: Analyze energy usage data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement in energy consumption.
• Utility Billing Audits: Review utility bills for accuracy, ensuring clients are not overcharged. Identify discrepancies, billing errors, and opportunities to lower energy costs through proper billing practices.
• Reporting and Recommendations: Prepare comprehensive reports summarizing audit findings and provide actionable recommendations for improving energy efficiency, reducing costs, and optimizing utility billing.
• Energy Efficiency Strategies: Collaborate with clients and internal teams to develop and implement strategies that optimize energy use and lower energy costs.
• Technical Analysis: Assess technical aspects of energy usage, including metering, load profiling, and real-time pricing, to guide energy-saving initiatives.
• Market Research: Stay informed on industry trends, regulations, and best practices to ensure energy audit strategies and utility billing audits align with current market standards and regulatory requirements.
• Client Collaboration: Work closely with clients, understand energy goals, and provide support throughout the audit process.
Desired Qualifications
• Proven experience in energy auditing, energy analysis, utility billing audits, or related fields.
• Energy Management Certification: (e.g., BEP, CEP, CEA or equivalent).
• Strong knowledge of energy systems, energy efficiency measures, data analysis techniques, and utility billing practices.
• Proficient in analyzing energy data and utility bills to identify trends, inefficiencies, billing errors, and opportunities for improvement.
• Understanding of energy metering, load profiling, real-time pricing, and utility rate structures.
• Familiarity with industry regulations and best practices for energy efficiency and utility billing.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills to present findings and recommendations clearly.
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with clients, internal teams, and external stakeholders.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office or similar data analysis tools.
