Job Overview:
A well-established law firm is seeking an associate attorney with 0-5 years of experience to join its energy mineral title practice. This role offers flexibility, allowing candidates to work from any of the firm's office locations or in a remote capacity. The ideal candidate will have experience in general property and/or mineral title work within the energy sector. Strong interpersonal, research, and communication skills are essential for success in this role.

Location:
• Wheeling, WV

Duties:
• Conduct legal research and analysis related to energy mineral title matters.
• Draft, review, and revise legal documents, including title opinions and related agreements.
• Provide legal guidance on property and mineral title issues within the energy sector.
• Collaborate with legal teams and clients to develop strategic solutions.
• Communicate effectively with clients, colleagues, and external stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations in energy transactions.

Requirements:
• Strong academic record.
• Excellent writing and oral communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
• Strong interpersonal skills to effectively engage with clients and legal teams.
• Prior experience in general property and/or mineral title work within the energy sector (preferred).

Education:
• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:
• Admission to the bar in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.

Skills:
• Legal research and analysis in energy and property law.
• Strong contract drafting and negotiation abilities.
• Effective communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
