Job Overview:
A reputable law firm is seeking an Energy Associate with 0-5 years of experience to join its energy mineral title practice. This position is open to multiple office locations or a remote work arrangement. The ideal candidate will have property and/or mineral title experience within the energy sector. Strong interpersonal skills, the ability to work independently, and excellent communication skills are essential for this role.

Location:
• Bridgeport, WV

Duties:
• Conduct legal research and analysis related to energy and mineral title issues.
• Draft legal documents, including title opinions, contracts, and related materials.
• Provide legal counsel to clients on energy sector property and mineral title matters.
• Assist in negotiating and resolving legal issues in energy law.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop legal strategies and manage cases.
• Maintain ongoing communication with clients to ensure timely and effective service.

Requirements:
• 0-5 years of experience in energy law, property law, or mineral title law.
• Strong academic background with proven research and writing skills.
• Ability to work independently while managing multiple tasks and meeting deadlines.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with clients and colleagues.

Education:
• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:
• Admission to the bar in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.

Skills:
• Expertise in legal research, writing, and analysis.
• Strong drafting skills for contracts and legal documents.
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational abilities.
• Effective communicator, both in writing and verbally.
