Energy & Sustainability Consultant
BGIS | Full-time | Hybrid (3 days office / 2 days WFH)

Join a global leader in facilities and project management, working on high-impact sustainability and energy efficiency projects across Australia. BGIS is seeking an experienced Energy & Sustainability Consultant to assess, improve and optimise energy and resource use across diverse client assets.
What You’ll Be Doing
• Conduct energy, water, and resource audits across commercial, industrial, health, education, and retail sites
• Deliver NABERS Ratings, Energy Audits, and identify cost-saving sustainability opportunities
• Plan and manage utility performance and energy management plans for key portfolios
• Lead or support energy efficiency projects, upgrades and refurbishments
• Liaise with clients and stakeholders to ensure project success and uncover new opportunities
• Act as a subject matter expert to upskill internal teams on sustainability best practices
What We’re Looking For
• 5+ years’ experience in building services or energy consulting
• Strong knowledge of NABERS, BMS, HVAC systems and sustainability tools
• Accredited NABERS Assessor (Energy & Water) – highly desirable
• Green Star AP, WELL AP, or other sustainability rating credentials – a plus
• Engineering or building services degree
• Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and project delivery skills
