The Energy Analyst Technician will work directly with end users to document energy-efficient equipment upgrades (i.e. lighting, HVAC, motors, controls) within Frontier Energy’s Texas service area.
The role will require regular travel throughout but not limited to the counties between Austin and Dallas and may require multiple days in the field. The Energy Analyst Technician will process energy efficiency rebates, communicate regularly with customers and contractors, and build and maintain professional relationships to continuously bring in new projects.
Key Responsibilities Work directly with end use customers and trade allies to identify energy conservation opportunities Pre- and post-verification site visits at project sites to verify project completion Conduct or coordinate facility site visits and energy audits Conduct outreach virtually and in person to bring in new program participants Ensure excellent customer service and satisfaction through regular communication and program delivery Provide periodic reports to leads on project status and/or performance Travel by car to customer sites, potentially driving for multiple hours, and occasional multiple-day trips Other activities as requested related to energy conservation, analysis, reporting, and customer service Required Skills High School Diploma or GED (General Educational Development) Equivalent AND must be able to complete Proficiency test for discipline with a score of 70% or better Associate degree or bachelor’s degree in environmental science/studies, energy management, sustainability, business or related field Minimum of one year’s work experience in a related field Self-motivated and adaptive learner in a changing environment Exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines A team player who loves to help others excel Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and persuasively to a variety of audiences both virtually and face to face Strong organizational skills, with the ability to effectively manage multiple projects, scout, and attend local events correlating to Frontier’s Mission Preferred Skills Experience conducting outreach for program participation Excellent skills with MS Word®, MS Excel®, MS PowerPoint®, MS Outlook®, and Windows® operating systems Ability to speak relevant Spanish
