Energy Analyst – Renewables – Cape Town

We are seeking an Energy Analyst to support our client in increasing resource efficiency of their business in South Africa. This role focuses on developing technical expertise in the African Energy Sector, influencing South Africa's energy future, and promoting market opportunities.

The successful candidate will lead technical aspects, engage stakeholders, drive sector growth, promote viable business cases, critically analyse investment opportunities, and cultivate relationships with funders.

This position requires a Master's degree in engineering, economics, finance, or resource management, with extensive project management experience and a successful track record of securing repeat funding.

The ideal candidate will have embedded knowledge of green technologies and/or business development, an established network with the energy sector, and strong interpersonal relationship skills.
