About our Internship
We are looking for motivated interns looking to gain or advance their experience in:
• Developing computer models using eQUEST building simulation software
• Sustainable building practices
• Energy efficiency in buildings
• LEED certification and documentation
• AutoCAD, HVAC, or Programming
Gain Experience & Insight
Interns will gain experience in working with professional engineers, experts in sustainability and gain insight to the green building certification process (LEED, Green Globes, Energy Star), as well as;
• Occasionally visit project sites for the purposes of auditing, testing, or measuring of mechanical or electrical equipment
• Attend client meetings with project managers
• Learn to build advanced energy models using eQuest
Candidate Qualifications
• Mechanical Engineering focused major
• Interest in sustainability and green practices
• GPA > 3.25+
• Schedule availability of minimum of 10 working hours during school semester
• Summer availability (Full time opportunities)
• Must have proficiency in Microsoft Office programs
Compensation
Entry Level $18+/Hourly (Based on previous work experience and enrollment year)
