Job Overview

A law firm seeks an experienced attorney to join its corporate group in Wilmington, DE. This role focuses on working with emerging growth companies and institutional investors. Duties
• Support venture capital financings and M&A transactions.
• Advise clients on corporate governance matters.
• Negotiate and manage preferred stock, bridge, and SAFE financings.
• Conduct due diligence for M&A and venture financings.
• Supervise junior lawyers and staff.
Requirements
• 5-8 years of experience in emerging growth and venture capital.
• Experience with AmLaw 100 law firms preferred.
• Familiarity with NVCA, seriesseed.com, and Y Combinator forms.
• Strong analytical and writing skills.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
Education
• Juris Doctor (JD)
