Your Leadership Role in Emergency Services

Reporting to the Director of Emergency Services, you'll collaborate closely with medical staff and interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care coordination and regulatory compliance. This management position combines hands-on clinical expertise with leadership responsibilities in one of healthcare's most dynamic environments.

Key Leadership Responsibilities:
• Partner with the Emergency Services Director on strategic initiatives
• Coordinate with medical staff and interdisciplinary teams for optimal patient outcomes
• Ensure appropriate staffing levels to support patient census and acuity
• Maintain department supplies and equipment for uninterrupted patient care
• Serve as a role model for interdepartmental communication and problem resolution
• Adapt to evolving technology and emergency nursing practice trends
• Mentor and develop emergency nursing staff

Clinical Excellence Focus:
• Maintain high-level clinical expertise in emergency care
• Ensure patient safety protocols and regulatory compliance
• Lead quality improvement initiatives
• Support staff development in emergency nursing competencies

What We're Looking For

Essential Experience:
• 5 years recent acute care Emergency Room experience
• 1 year nursing management or supervisory experience
• Graduate of accredited Registered Nursing program (BSN preferred)

Credentials:
• Current California RN license
• Current BLS certification
• ACLS certification
• PALS certification
• CEN/CCRN certification encouraged
