Job Description

The Federal Emergency Management Agency is hiring an Emergency Management Specialist (Recovery) in Charleston, WV, to support the Public Assistance program during disaster recovery efforts. The role involves collaboration with various governmental partners and requires strong communication and program management skills. This is a full-time position with a salary of $49,960 per year.
This position will serve as an Emergency Management Specialist in support of FEMA's Public Assistance (PA) program during recovery efforts from disaster declarations. The incumbent will collaborate and coordinate with Federal, State, Local, Tribal, and Territorial partners. The ideal candidate will have strong written and oral communication skills, Program Management skills, and work well in a team environment.
