EMEA Energy Transition & Renewables – Associate (Investment Banking)

LSP Renewables is seeking an Associate for their EMEA Energy Transition & Renewables Investment Banking team in London. The role involves supporting M&A and capital markets transactions, preparing client materials, leading valuation workstreams, and mentoring analysts. Candidates should have 3-5 years of investment banking experience, strong financial modeling skills, and be effective communicators. Fluency in additional European languages and sector experience in Energy Transition & Renewables is a plus.
Join a fast-paced, high-performing team within EMEA Energy Transition & Renewables Investment Banking group. Our client is looking for a driven Associate to support origination and execution of M&A and capital markets transactions across the sector, working with top-tier corporate clients and financial sponsors throughout the EMEA region.

What You'll Do
• Support and drive transaction execution, working closely with senior bankers and junior team members
• Prepare client materials for pitches and live deals, including presentations and financial analyses
• Lead valuation workstreams (DCF, comparables, LBO, synergy analyses, etc.)
• Collaborate with product partners across M&A, ECM, DCM, and more
• Stay informed on sector trends and client developments
• Mentor and supervise analysts, contributing to team development

What We’re Looking For
• 3–5 years of Investment Banking experience
• Strong financial modeling and analytical skills
• Confident communicator with the ability to articulate ideas clearly
• Highly organized, detail-focused, and capable of managing multiple projects
• Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
• A team player with a proactive mindset and sound judgment
• Comfortable engaging with clients in a professional setting
