Job Description

MICHAEL ENTERPRISE is seeking an electronics technician to repair and maintain household and business equipment in Barrie, ON. Candidates should have a college diploma or equivalent experience, with tasks including inspecting, diagnosing, and repairing electronic devices. Proficiency in MS Office and excellent communication skills are required. The role demands manual dexterity and the ability to work under pressure. Previous experience of 3-5 years is preferred.
Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years. or equivalent experience. Tasks: Inspect products to determine the requirements for repair. Install electronic equipment . Repair electronic equipment . Inspect and test electronic equipment and assemblies. Repair or replace defective or worn-out parts and components using hand, power or specially designed tools. Diagnose and locate circuit, component and equipment faults. Test and adjust repaired products for proper functioning. Adjust, align, replace or repair electronic equipment and assemblies. Calibrate products using hand tools. Complete work orders, test and maintenance reports. Prepare cost estimates. Read blueprints and drawings. Provide customer service. Type of service and repair: DVD players. Stereo equipment. Alarm/security system. Car stereos. Computers and peripherals. Data collection equipment. Office audio equipment. Video cameras and projectors. Television. Computer and technology knowledge: MS Office. MS Outlook. MS Excel. MS Windows. MS Word. Security and safety: Bondable. Criminal record check. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Manual dexterity. Attention to detail. Hand-eye co-ordination. Fast-paced environment. Bending, crouching, kneeling. Work under pressure.
