Electronics Technician

Chroma Recruitment Ltd is hiring an Electronics Technician in Bolton, UK, to support production by soldering, assembling, and testing devices. Candidates should have experience with PCBs, schematics, and fault finding. This hands-on role is ideal for those passionate about electronics. Due to growth within the business, this innovative company are looking to expand their team by hiring an Electronics Technicians to work on their devices.

The role of Electronics Technician is a very hands-on role supporting the production team to ensure all products are soldered, assembled and tested to their high standards. You’ll be working heavily with PCBs and schematics down to component level. As part of this role, you’ll be required to fault find, test & repair using a wide range of measurement equipment.

Electronics Technician Requirements:
• Previous experience in a similar role
• Qualification in Electronics
• Understanding of schematics/PCBs
• Testing, fault finding & repair
• Soldering
• IPC or SMT (desirable but not essential)
