Electronics Service Technician

Russell Tobin is seeking a full-time Electronics Service Technician in Mirabel, Quebec. Responsibilities include diagnosing equipment malfunctions, performing maintenance, using CMMS software, and collaborating with the maintenance team. Candidates should have a college diploma in Electronics, 5 years of experience, and be bilingual in French and English. This position does not offer remote work.

Location : Mirabel, QC, ON Canada

Duration : Fulltime role

Responsibilities
• Diagnose and resolve any equipment malfunctions.
• Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance.
• Fill in breakdown reports.
• Use CMMS software. (Search for parts, drawings, work routines, etc.)
• Participate in breakdown analyses.
• Exchange and communicate with the maintenance team and various internal departments.
• Contact manufacturers' technical departments as required.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of the machine maintenance department.
• Update work lists and electrical plans, in cooperation with the reliability specialist
• Update lockout sheets.
• Participate in equipment updates and improvements.

Skills and qualifications
• College diploma in Electronics profile electrodynamics or instrument control
• 5 years experience
• Electro-technician in instrument control or electrodynamics, C license
• Office suite, Google domain, SAP
• Bilingualism (French - English) in oral and written communication is an important asset for communication in the multilingual environment of the customer site and technical documentation.
