Reporting Line
The Electronics Production Technician will report directly to the Operations Manager.

Location
Bridge of Don, Aberdeen, UK. There may be a requirement to visit suppliers, customers, conferences, exhibitions and other work locations as required.

Role
To primarily work on the assembly and testing of Impact Subsea underwater sensors (Altimeters, Depth Sensors, Sonars etc).

Key Responsibilities
The Electronics Production Technician will be required to:-
• Ensure equipment is manufactured to meet delivery schedules. This includes the building and testing of equipment.
• Support the development team in product development decisions and product testing.
• Comply with management system procedures, including health, safety and environmental requirements within the company.
• Convey a professional image of the company at all times.
• Carry out any other tasks within the competence of the role and jobholder.

Key Outcomes
• To ensure products are built to meet delivery schedule.
• To assist in the day-to-day business operations.

Full responsibility for all operational activities within the philosophies and constraints laid out in the job description.

Qualifications & Experience

Essential:
• Degree, HND or equivalent experience in an electronic engineering discipline.

Desirable:
• Relevant experience in assembly and testing of subsea electronic equipment.

Personal Attributes & Knowledge
Essential:
• A proactive approach to dealing with challenges.
• Experience in working on production of equipment
• Good at working in a team

Desirable:
• Flexibility to travel to meet the requirements of the role.
• Experience in working directly with customers.

Job Type: Full-time
