Enerven is seeking qualified Electricians for a 2-year contract in Boconnoc Park, SA, Australia. The role involves constructing electrical infrastructure for substations and renewable projects, primarily away from Adelaide. Candidates must have experience with high voltage systems and relevant qualifications. About the role We currently have multiple positions for qualified Electricians of all levels to join our team on a 2-year contract. Reporting to the Team Leader or Supervisor, you’ll be involved in the construction of electrical infrastructure on substation and renewables projects, with relation to transmission and distribution systems. Approx 60% of the year will be spent working away from Adelaide on project construction sites. The most common roster is 11:3 roster working 10hr days (over time and travel allowances apply), but rosters will sometimes vary depending on the requirements of different projects. Day to day you will:
• Knowledge and experience in heavy industrial electrical construction, including installation of High Voltage equipment and systems
• Experience in construction of substations and/or renewable projects is highly advantageous
• Read and interpret electrical drawings
• Current SA Electrical Trade Certificate or Current SA Electrical worker registration
• Current South Australian Drivers Licence

About you We are looking for Electricians who have experience of dealing with substations or been in a similar environment, having dealt with High Voltage Switching that are used to being out in the field. Specific qualifications and experience required include:
• High Voltage Switching Operator Accreditation (Cat 20 & Cat 2)
• High risk EWP and Forklift licences
• Working at heights qualification
• Current First Aid and CPR qualification
• Current construction industry white card
