Job Title: Electrical Supervisor Location: Hybrid Industry: Electrical Utilities Seniority: Senior Employment Type: Full-Time Overview: An exciting opportunity for a Senior Electrical Supervisor to join a leading organisation within the electrical utilities sector. This role is pivotal in ensuring compliance with industry standards and the ongoing management of the company’s NERS ( Electricity Registration Scheme) accreditation. Key Responsibilities: * Oversee day-to-day site operations on electrical utility projects, ensuring works are delivered safely, on time and to specification. * Arrange, manage, and maintain the company’s NERS accreditation, ensuring full compliance with all applicable guidelines and audit requirements. * Provide technical support and guidance to site teams and subcontractors, particularly around NERS standards and safety protocols. * Liaise with clients, DNOs and ICPs to ensure smooth project delivery and clear communication across all parties. * Monitor workforce performance, conduct site inspections, and ensure adherence to HSE regulations and company procedures. Key Requirements: * Proven experience in an Electrical Supervisor role within the utilities sector. * Demonstrable knowledge and hands-on experience with NERS accreditation processes. * Strong understanding of electrical distribution networks and DNO/IDNO standards. * Relevant electrical qualifications (e.g. NVQ Level 3, 18th Edition, ECS/CSCS). * Excellent communication and organisational skills, with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively. Desirable: * Prior experience working with Independent Connection Providers (ICPs) or Distribution Network Operators (DNOs). * SMSTS or SSSTS certification
