Job Summary

Join Xcel Energy as a Construction Supervisor II to oversee crucial electrical installations at the Blue Lake and Wheaton power generation projects. Responsibilities
• Project Oversight: Review project drawings and specifications to ensure proper installation of electrical components.
• Electrical Inspection: Monitor contractor work for compliance with industry standards across various electrical systems.
• Collaboration: Work closely with construction managers, engineers, logistics staff, contractors, and suppliers.
• Documentation: Utilize tools like Bluebeam or Adobe Pro for managing electrical drawings and project documentation.
• Safety & Best Practices: Apply knowledge of electrical distribution systems to maintain safe work practices.

Skills
• 5-7 years of experience in electrical inspection or hands-on technical work in electrical distribution systems.
• Strong understanding of power distribution, transmission tie-ins, and control wiring.
• Proficiency with PDF/Adobe Pro, Bluebeam, or similar tools for managing electrical drawings.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Physical capability for on-site work requirements.
• Ability to work 50 hours/week including overtime and occasional Saturdays.

Qualifications

Education:

Relevant education (e.g., electrical engineering, trade school) or demonstrated ability through experience.
