Job Description
We are seeking a Regional Lead Transmission & Distribution Designer to join our team in Madison, WI. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for maximizing client relationships in the assigned region and providing leadership and mentorship to professional colleagues.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage the relationship of assigned electric utility clients within the region on behalf of all PSE practice areas.
• Develop new regional electric utility client relationships and assist with business development activities.
• Lead a team of professional colleagues and direct efforts in providing distribution line design services.
• Participate in utility client projects as a project manager, engineering consultant, technical review person, or senior technical support.
• Direct, coordinate, and carry out field staking and design of electrical distribution systems.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
• A high school diploma and at least 4 years of relevant experience in utility line design, surveying, or relevant line construction work.
• Specific experience leading and directing a team of technical professionals and managing technical projects.
• Working knowledge of applicable RUS, NESC, IEEE, and ANSI standards.
