AMS Renewable Energy is seeking an Electrical Foreman for solar and storage projects in the NY/NJ/CT area. This full-time role involves leading electrical installations, managing crews, ensuring safety and compliance, and communicating with project stakeholders. Candidates should have a Journeyman Electrician License and at least 3 years of supervisory experience in the field. Travel is required for regional projects.

As we expand, we’re looking for an experienced Electrical Foreman to lead field crews and ensure safe, efficient, and code-compliant project execution.

What You’ll Do
• Lead the installation of electrical systems on solar and storage job sites
• Manage and coordinate electrical crews, subcontractors, and material deliveries
• Ensure work meets NEC code, project specs, and safety standards
• Interpret electrical drawings, site plans, and single-line diagrams
• Conduct daily site inspections, maintain job logs, and report progress
• Communicate with the Project Manager and other stakeholders to stay on schedule and within budget
• Ensure all work is completed with safety as the top priority

What We’re Looking For
• Journeyman Electrician License (or equivalent experience)
• 3+ years of experience supervising electrical crews in the field
• Experience on commercial or utility-scale solar and storage projects strongly preferred
• Solid understanding of NEC code and best practices
• Ability to read blueprints, electrical schematics, and plan sets
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• OSHA 30 preferred
