Your Role
As an Electrical Design Engineer, you’ll be responsible for creating precise, innovative designs that meet our clients’ unique requirements. Key tasks include:

Designing HV/LV systems, including protection, switchgear, and auxiliary systems.
Conducting power system studies: load flow, fault analysis, protection coordination, and arc flash studies.
Developing earthing systems and performing grounding analysis.
Producing detailed technical reports, design scopes, and specifications.
Supporting project delivery, from concept through to final commissioning.

Skills and Experiences:
About You

To excel in this role, you’ll need:
A Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
Minimum of 4 years’ experience in electrical design, with a strong focus on quality and innovation.
Proficiency in design software and tools for electrical engineering.
Knowledge of Australian standards and regulations for electrical systems.
Excellent communication skills for client interaction and team collaboration.
A proactive attitude with a passion for delivering top-tier design solutions.

Desirable

RPEQ accreditation or the ability to obtain it within 12 months.
Experience in HV substation design, automation, protection, or communications systems.
