Electrical CAD Designer​/Drafter

INTEC Energy Solutions GmbH is seeking an Electrical CAD Designer/Drafter in Georgia, VT, with 2+ years of CAD experience, preferably in solar power or renewable energy. Responsibilities include creating detailed 2D CAD drawings for solar PV systems, coordinating with project teams, and maintaining CAD libraries. Proficiency in AutoCAD and understanding of electrical design principles are preferred. This is a full-time position with no degree requirement.

As an international company, we are looking for an Electrical CAD Designer/Drafter.

QUALIFICATIONS
• 2+ years of experience as a CAD Designer, preferably in solar power plant or renewable energy projects.
• Experience with large-scale ground-mounted solar PV projects is a plus.

JOB DESCRIPTION
• Create detailed 2D CAD drawings for solar PV systems, including site layouts, electrical schematics, and single-line diagrams (SLDs).
• Prepare general arrangement (GA) drawings for mounting systems, electrical equipment, and substations.
• Work with project teams to ensure designs align with technical specifications and project requirements.
• Coordinate with civil, electrical, and mechanical teams to integrate all design components.
• Maintain and update CAD libraries and templates to ensure standardization.
• Review and revise drawings based on client feedback, engineering inputs, and regulatory requirements.
• Utilize CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit, or equivalent) for drafting and modeling.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D/3D) and other solar design software is a plus.
• Understanding of electrical and structural design principles for solar projects is a plus.
