Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Electric Vehicle Technician to join our team as a City Mobility Specialist. As a key member of our fleet management team, you will be responsible for maintaining and monitoring our electric scooters across the city of Calgary.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work outdoors, interacting with the public and ensuring the smooth operation of our scooter fleet. You will be required to collect and re-balance vehicles at popular destination points, move improperly parked vehicles back to designated areas, and patrol service areas to identify scooters that need repair or maintenance.

Responsibilities
• Collect and re-balance vehicles gathered at popular destination points.
• Maintain accurate records of fleet activity and data using technology and software.
• Interact positively with the public as an ambassador for the scooters.
• Use equipment and tools to perform routine maintenance tasks.
• Re-position scooters as needed for customer use.
• Patrol service areas to inspect and identify scooters that need repair or maintenance.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must be physically capable of repetitive standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 60-80 lbs on a regular basis. You should also have excellent time management and organizational skills, with the ability to work within a team environment and adapt to changing priorities.
