Job Description
The EHS Specialist position at Environmental Resources Management (ERM) in Milan involves ensuring compliance with Health and Safety regulations for environmental projects. Responsibilities include reviewing documentation, developing safety procedures, managing training sessions, conducting audits, and analyzing health and safety indicators. Candidates should have a relevant degree, at least 5 years of experience, and strong knowledge of Italian HS regulations. This is a full-time, on-site role.
As an EHS Specialist at Environmental Resources Management (ERM), you will be responsible for ensuring the effective implementation of Health and Safety regulations and standards for one of our projects in the environmental services sector. This will involve reviewing existing documentation to identify gaps, redundancies, and opportunities for improvement, and developing work instructions and safety procedures to mitigate risks. You will also be responsible for supporting industrial hygiene monitoring surveys and analysis, managing personal protective equipment, planning induction training sessions, and conducting audits to verify compliance with regulations. Additionally, you will contribute to the development of emergency plans, analyze accident events, and monitor corporate health and safety indicators.

About You
To excel in this role, you should have a degree in a relevant field such as Engineering or Environmental Science, along with at least 5 years of relevant experience in Health and Safety. Strong knowledge of Testo Unico 81/08 s.m.i./normativa antincendio e CPI/Accordo stato regione per formazione and HS regulations for Italy is essential, as well as on-site experience, good communication skills, and the ability to work independently and coordinate a team.
