BDA is now recruiting for the position of Environment Health and Safety Specialist based in Brisbane. This is a fantastic opportunity to use your broad EHS, communication and engagement skills. As the EHS Specialist, reporting to the EHS Operations Manager, you will be accountable for supporting BDA's EHS Management System and delivering EHS guidance and support to a range of stakeholders.
BDA requires all applicants to be able to demonstrate the following essential qualifications:
· Formal qualifications in Work Health and Safety or Science;
· A sound understanding of Work Health and Safety legislation;
· A sound understanding of risk management;
· Three years of experience in a similar role;
· Sound understanding of Work Health and Safety principles and practices.
Applicants must be Australian Citizens to meet defence security requirements and be able to obtain security clearances as a key requirement of the role.
