Job Description

M.C. Dean, Inc is seeking an experienced EHS Professional for Risk Management and Compliance in Pocatello, ID. About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) professional to join our team. As an EHS Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring the health and safety of our employees and the public by developing and implementing safety policies, procedures, and programs.

Key Responsibilities
• Develop and implement safety policies, procedures, and programs to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company standards.
• Conduct regular site visits to monitor and assess safety performance, identify hazards, and provide recommendations for improvement.
• Investigate incidents and near-miss events to determine root causes and develop corrective actions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement risk management strategies.

Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Industrial Hygiene, or related field required.
• At least 8 years of experience in environmental health and safety, with a proven track record of success in reducing workplace injuries and illnesses.
• Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) designation preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
