Candidates should have a relevant degree and 5+ years of EHS experience in manufacturing. The position offers a salary of $110K–$130K per year.
A national aerospace manufacturer is seeking an EHS Manager to manage their facility near Springfield, MA. Working closely with the local leadership team, the incumbent will be responsible for managing the entire EHS programs at the facilities, working to minimize safety risks, ensuring compliance with appropriate regulatory agencies, and implementing corporate initiatives.

The Role:
• Develop, manage, and implement appropriate health and safety procedures in accordance with federal, state, local, and corporate requirements.
• Lead continual improvement of the EHS culture, manage OSHA training, and ensure compliance with various environmental permits.
• Prepare and coordinate all environmental permits, reports and related requirements for facility - Air, Waste, Water etc.
• Complete audits and ongoing site visits to identify and address environmental regulatory, permit, and compliance issues.
• Participate in detailed incident investigation teams to determine root causes and corrective and preventive actions.

The Candidate:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Safety and Health, Environmental Science, or a related degree preferred.
• 5+ years of EHS experience in a manufacturing environment
• Knowledge of OSHA, and other federal, state, and local regulatory standards.
• Previous experience overseeing environmental permitting operations e.g. Title V, Wastewater (required).
• Strong communication skills, and ability to engage with employees at all levels.
