Location: Chicago, IL - On-Site, Day Shift, M-F

Salary: $100,000 - $130,000 - Depending on experience, bonus potential

What You Will Be Doing

As the Environmental, Health and Safety (EH&S) Manager, you will be responsible for managing Environment, Health & Safety for the Chicago location, to ensure a safe and accident-free workplace as well as the conservation of the environment. The EH&S Manager will lead the process to training managers, associates and employees at work sites regarding health and safety practices. This position will oversee the investigation of workplace accidents, perform root cause analysis, and monitor corrective action implementation. You will maintain accident reports required by regulatory agencies and will work with corporate EH&S leaders to reduce injuries and lost work time.

What You Need For This Position
• Bachelor's Degree in: Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Occupational Health, Industrial Hygiene
• 5+ Years in safety, health, environmental management experience in a manufacturing environment
• Knowledge of USDA, BRC, FDA and HACCP preferred.
• CSP, CIH, CSHM, CHMM or other related certification a plus.
• Safety Reports/Hazard Analysis experience, database applications, and reporting
• OSHA compliance, inspections, incident investigations
• Industrial/Food Manufacturing experience preferred
• Microsoft Office proficiency
• Excellent oral and written communication
