Position Overview

The EHS Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing the Environmental, Health, and Safety programs to ensure compliance with regulations and promote a safe working environment. This role involves conducting risk assessments, managing safety audits, and leading initiatives to reduce workplace hazards.

Key Responsibilities
• Develop and implement EHS policies and procedures to ensure compliance with OSHA and other regulatory requirements.
• Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify and mitigate risks in the workplace.
• Lead root cause analysis investigations for incidents and near misses to establish corrective actions.
• Prepare and submit safety analysis reports to management and regulatory agencies as required.
• Conduct training sessions and workshops to educate employees on occupational health and safety practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to promote a culture of safety within the organization.
• Monitor and report on safety performance metrics, identifying trends and areas for improvement.

Qualifications
• Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health and Safety, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in EHS management, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and standards.
• Possess excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively and respectfully communicate with co-workers, team members, and internal or external customers. Communicate technical issues to non-technical personnel at a 6 grade level.
• Proven experience in conducting root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions.
• Familiarity with EPA regulations and compliance reporting is a plus.
• Experience in preparing and reviewing safety analysis reports and conducting safety audits.
