A global biotech leader is setting up its first laboratory facility in the Netherlands and is looking for an EHS Supervisor to establish environmental, health, and safety procedures from the ground up. This role offers the chance to take ownership of safety compliance, risk management, and sustainability initiatives while working in a fast-paced, multicultural environment.

The EHS Supervisor will be responsible for:
– Developing and implementing EHS procedures for a newly constructed 200-300 sq meter laboratory.
– Ensuring compliance with Dutch and EU safety regulations, including permitting and risk assessments.
– Leading safety training and fostering a culture of proactive risk management with an international production team.
– Collaborating with global teams (China, Singapore, and Europe) on EHS best practices.
– Managing daily safety operations for the lab setup, starting in sometime between March – July 2025.
– Preparing and delivering HSE reports to senior leadership.

The EHS Supervisor will have:
– 5+ years of EHS experience, ideally in laboratory or production environments.
– Strong knowledge of European and Dutch EHS regulations.
– EHS certifications (NEBOSH, CSP, OSHA, or equivalent preferred).
– A self-starter mindset with the ability to set up an EHS program independently.
– Experience working in a multicultural environment.
