Are you excited about finding econometric solutions to economic and policy problems? Have you performed economic analyses related to policy issues? Kapur Energy Environment Economics, LLC (KEEE) is a small, woman-owned Charlottesville, Virginia based consulting firm that specializes in providing economically feasible environmental and policy solutions to our clients.
We have a supportive work environment and we seek a talented analyst who is not afraid of finding innovative economic solutions for our clients’ environmental or policy problems. As a research analyst you will get to perform some or all of the following functions:
• Gather demographic data from U.S. Census surveys
• Analyze the data to understand business and entrepreneurship trends
• Gather business demand- and supply-side data
• Apply econometric methods to understand the relationships between the data gathered
• Use appropriate software to run the econometric models
• Analyze model outputs and results
• Make policy recommendations based on model results
Our ideal candidate is someone who confronts a policy issue and doesn’t leave without finding solutions based on sound economic analysis. Someone who is proficient with understanding economic fundamentals and applying them to policy questions.

The work can be done in-person at our Charlottesville, VA office, remotely or using a hybrid approach.
What we need:
• A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree
• Experience and level of comfort gathering and analyzing data
• Knowledge of and experience with econometric modeling
• Experience with one or more of the following software packages - EViews, Stata, R, or Python
• Experience with gathering and analyzing Census data is a plus
