Aurecon's Melbourne Environment and Planning team is seeking an experienced Ecologist / Consultant to join their team. In this role, you will be responsible for ecological fieldwork, report writing, and internal advice provision. To succeed, you should have at least 2-3 years' experience in ecological consulting in Victoria, current VQA accreditation, working knowledge of Commonwealth and Victorian legislation and policy, and tertiary qualifications in botany, ecology, environmental science, or a related field.

The ideal candidate should have excellent written and verbal communication skills, a current Victorian driver's license, and botanical and/or bird identification skills. You will also have opportunities to work on a variety of projects across various sectors, including renewable energy, transport, and Defence.
