Western EcoSystems is hiring a Biological Field Technician in La Pine, OR. As a Biological Field Technician with Western EcoSystems Technology, Inc. (WEST), you will be responsible for conducting fieldwork in remote locations, collecting biological data, and assisting with ecological research projects.

You will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of species, including song birds, hawks, eagles, and other wildlife. Your duties will include avian surveys, use of topographic maps, compasses, GPS units, and other field equipment, and interacting with project managers, field leads, landowners, and other technicians.

This position requires a valid driver's license and successful completion of a pre-employment background check, drug screening, and a DMV records check that meets WEST's minimum criteria to operate a motor vehicle on behalf of the company.
