HELIX Environmental Planning, a leading environmental consulting firm, is seeking an experienced Biologist (Restoration Specialist) to join our team in Pasadena. As a key member of our biology and habitat restoration teams, you will play a vital role in supporting habitat restoration project work.

Our ideal candidate possesses strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop solutions for project challenges and forge strong, collaborative relationships among team members, staff, clients, and agencies.

In this dynamic position, you will have the opportunity to support habitat restoration project design, conduct site exploration programs, lead adaptive management efforts, and assist with regulatory permitting and compliance monitoring. You will also participate in business development activities, including proposal preparation and augmentation, and contribute to the growth of our Los Angeles area restoration discipline.

To be successful in this role, you must have a bachelor's degree or equivalent in an environmental science field and at least five years of experience as a professional biologist or restoration ecologist conducting duties related to the job requirements. You should possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and be proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
